Our desire is that God will be glorified in our lives. We are a new family. Please pray for us as we are beginning our journey together.

Destination: Portland, Oregon

We would like to announce that we begun our round USA trip on Friday, October 14. By God's Grace, we are in Portland, Oregon. The weather is mild, much cooler than in California. The terrain changed from rocky mountains and pines to a more mild type of hills, and much more trees with wide leaves. It is still sunny.
Spending time with my relatives and Marie gets to meet my extended family. We appreciate the hospitality of the Ukrainian, Romanian and Moldavian people, the food is always good, singing is a must - with accordion this time :) There is also a large immigrant population in the Portland area, about  100,000.

We met Gregg Harris, a leader in the home education community, whose sons are true “arrows in the hand of a mighty man.” Joshua Harris wrote “I Kissed Dating Goodbye” a book that influenced me much in my teenage years, Alex and Brett are challenging the teenagers today to a holy lifestyle through Rebelution "Do Hard Things" program (http://www.therebelution.com).

There are many natural beauty places in this area. We visited Multnomah falls today.

In the midst of the flower field. Reminded us of Ukraine...

Farm-grown cabbages :)

Multnomah Falls!

Multnomah Falls  -- view from our half-an-hour walk to the top!

God is so good!

Plan for later: on the way to Seattle, we're planning to visit the great St. Helen’s volcano that upsets the evolutionists’ theories about dating the age of the earth.
